Dear in the Lord,
Greetings in Jesus name! My name is Pastor Roy H. Malpas, I made this letter to you of my interest to have your old books. I do not have the capacity to provide a library for our congregation, as we are a church of low income. My members are living in the slum area near the (garbage) dump site. But I am trying to gather different Bible translation, some hymnals as part of the books we are gathering to be like a library at least.
Even books are marked up, is not a matter, actually marked up books will help us to see why it was "marked". Will lead us to think it is like an emphasis or a message, or a lesson to pick up.
My website is just a free site, most of my friend can't open it according to them. If you will reply me in email, I can send photos of the Work over here.
Thank you for your "give away book/s.

Yours in the Lord,

Pastor Roy Malpas

I am very familiar with once a month meetings. In the 1950's when I was a kid, the preacher in N.E. La. came once a month from Shreveport where he served his home church there twice a month and one other church in south Arkansas once a month. I had a great uncle Wiley Puckitt rode via horseback all over east Texas as a P.B. preacher around the late 1800's and early 1900's, serving no one church in particular, when he would get to homes near a church, word would spread and they would call a meeting within 2 to 3 days, sometimes meeting for 2 or 3 days, because this might be all they could hear for a long while.

Dear Brother,
I have been preaching for the Primitive Baptists for over 50 years. I can relate to much of what you have written on your website. Anyway, I enjoyed reading through what you have posted. God bless.
